Our May 20, 2011 visitation to the APO Learning Center 2 in Kabisig, Floodway, Cainta, Rizal was a success. In attendance were about 45 kids and their parents.
I would like to express my thanks to brothers Joey Policarpio and Manny Atienza, outgoing president and incoming president respectively, of the APO Learning Center, to Brother Ver Velasco, current SAPOC president, and to all the SAPOC members who assisted us and made our visit a success.
Likewise, I would like to acknowledge the presence of brothers and sisters from North America Aleks Garcia, APO Dallas Fort Worth president, Irma Almazan, APO Hollywood president , Alex Almazan, and my son William and my nephew Ronald who joined me on this visitation. To them, my heartfelt thanks.
I am also grateful to the following : the APO Alberta Alumni Association, the APO Dallas Fort Worth,brother Aleks Garcia, sister Belle Tumbokon, and brother Jess de Leon for their generous response to my personal appeal which enabled us to provide a backpack filled with school supplies and assorted goodies to each of the Center's 150 kids.
We also distributed can goods donated by our Honorable Vice President Brother Jojo Binay.
The gift-giving and the turn over of $1,200.00 representing APO ACNA's financial support to the APO Learning Center capped our visit to the Center.
And finally to all the brothers and sisters present at the occasion,THANK YOU SO MUCH for your wholehearted support.
